She also writes about the spinster living alone in her house in the village who ensured that the house she lived in was converted into an old age home after her death.

The first wife of his father was now living in poverty, while venkatesh was fairly wealthy.
In another story, Mukesh is working in London, and his parents are settled in Bengaluru owning a garment export business. After the death of his father, his brother in law, finds out that he and his sister are not biologically related. His mother tells him and he was adopted from a sardarni who could not take care of him. He spends a lot of time to trace the sardarni, visiting amritsar.
When he finds the sardarni, she tells him the true story of his birth, that he was the illegimate son of young woman as a result of an affair with a history student. His real mother is now married to a powerful cabinet minister and her other sons are often in trouble with the law. he realizes that a persons values depend on the family that has bought him up, not the biological parent and does not try to trace his father.
In both the stories the protagonist do the right thing and help the person who has got an unfair deal. However in the cruel criminal indian sector only frauds and cheaters flourish, protected and rewarded allegedly by criminal tata, google, officials.
