Review: Domina by L.S.Hilton 0

Domina by L.S Hilton is the second book in the series, and is a sequel to the first book Maestra. The novel is a racy thriller about a young English woman Judith Rashleigh whose mother was a poor cleaner. However Judith wanted to improve her life, and she learned how to use men to further her career and life. She initially works in reputed art house, yet she is forced to move to Italy under a new name Elisabeth Teerlinc, hoping to leave behind her rather murky past which includes murder and theft of a painting which was considered valuable. The main passion of Elisabeth Teerlinc is art, and she hopes to make a living selling art pieces at her gallery on behalf of relatively unknown artists .

However Judith Rashleigh/Elisabeth Teerlinc makes the mistake of using the same name for her art gallery in Venice as the name she used for her gallery in Paris, Gentileschi. Slowly her past catches up with her, as she is contacted by a russian oligarch Yermolov to assess the value of his collection of valuable paintings by some of the most reputed names in the world. However after she does not agree to the terms and conditions of the russian, not taking photos, and returns to Venice, she finds that her life has changed for the worse, adversely affecting her peace of mind.

She is subjected to “home intrusions” a technique allegedly perfected by KGB, the russian secret service of entering the house, when the person is away and moving things from their original place or stealing low value items. The intruder is aware of the fact that the break in is too minor for the victim to file a police complaint, however the home instrusion can cause a lot of mental stress. The estranged wife of Yermolov , Elena also meets Elisabeth teerlinc and as she wants a good deal from her husband after the divorce, she wants to get hold of some valuable paintings which Yermolov owns. Initially Elisabeth thinks that Yermolov is responsible for the home intrusions

Elena is looking for a painting by Caravaggio, an Italian artist of the sixteenth century. The remaining part of the book is the story of how Elisabeth teerlinc traces the painting and includes a generous dose of crime, sleaze and gore. It shows the hollow and fickle world of relationships in the rich elite social circles, Carlotta a friend is engaged to be married to Hermann, however when Hermann is sent to jail, she is quickly married the wealthy elderly Franz, who would support her lavish lifestyle. Many like Alvin who come close to discovering the murky past of Elisabeth Teerlinc are mercilessly killed by her, as she tried to cover up her past.

The book gives a glimpse of the murky world of art dealers, the demand for and trade of valuable paintings by the rich, and the dark side of human nature. The extremely wealthy are smart enough to diversify their investment as they are aware of the fact that when there is a war or any kind of disturbance, the value of currency will fall, and valuable paintings are considered a better investment in these conditions. Hence there is a some demand for skilled art dealers who can assess the value of paintings, especially older paintings accurately and detect whether a painting is original or not.

The book Domina is set in various countries in Europe like England, France, Italy, Monaco, provides detailed information about life in these countries and travel in Europe. It is a well written readable book, offering an insight into the life of ambitious young women in Europe with no scruples, the art market and the demand for rare paintings as an investment

Review : The Break Up Clinic by Dr Govind Sharma , IAS (Retd) 0

Regularly most newspapers are publishing the story of people committed suicide or other crimes, allegedly because of a love affair which did not have a happy ending. The novel”The Break Up Clinic” by Dr Govind Sharma, a retired IAS officer is an excellent book on how those who are unhappy after their love affair ends can deal with it, getting out of the depression and mental trauma they experience.

The main protagonist of the story is Ajay Raghuvanshi, the only son of a railway employee, who has tried to commit suicide three times, after his long time girlfriend Himanshi ditches him to marry a wealthier NRI. He is so upset that his girlfriend has left him, that he stops going to college, Tata Institute of Social sciences and feels that life is not worth living. however when he is trying to commit suicide for the third time at Mumbai Central station, a coolie Babu, who his father had helped, catches him and gets him admitted to the Break Up Clinic , which specializes in helping those who have had a failed love affair recover. Those who have tried to committ suicide are given special priority in the clinic.

Since the coolie Babu knows a doctor Dev working in the Break up clinic, Ajay is admitted free of cost, otherwise it is a very expensive clinic as the latest methods are used to help people recover. They do not use medication, instead relying on psycho analysis to help the patient understand the problem and gradually recover from the love affair, devoting his or her time to other activities and goals for life. At the initial introduction, he meets others who have also tried to commit suicide who also recount their story. It is observed that love affairs end when one of those involved in the affair is not serious, or has found better opportunities hurting the other person in the process

In particular he becomes close to Karan who was working in Tata Administrative Services and met a very beautiful married woman Anubha while working there. Anubha who was from a rich family said that she was forced into the marriage for business purposes, was unhappy in the marriage, and had an affair with Karan, She claimed that her husband had an affair with another woman. She then returned to Mumbai. For a few months when Karan was posted in Assam, she returned to continue the affair, however she again returned to Mumbai. When Karan tried to meet her in office, she had him physically removed and a restraining order was sent to him. This made him very upset and he tried to commit suicide, however his domestic help saved him.Another person at the clinic is Nisha, who came from a rich family, was working for a film maker Gautam Nath and allegedly tried to commit suicide after being humiliated.

Each case history is analyzed in very great detail. There is some very good advice which is true for any kind of broken relationship, not necessarily a love affair, Any person who has cheated, betrayed or treated you badly is not worth keeping relationships with, try to avoid them to the extent possible. In future also they will not think twice about treating you badly. The ex lover or other person, who may be a friend or business associate who has cheated, or betrayed, has already moved on, and they have treated you badly because they do not think that you will be of any use to them in future. It is not worth committing suicide or harming yourself in any way, because someone has treated you badly.

Though Ajay tries to contact his girlfriend Himanshi, she refuses to meet him and send her fiancee Utkarsh who warns Ajay to stay away. However with the help of Doctor Dev, along with Karan, Nisha , Ajay learns to cope with life again. This is a situation of betrayal, broken relationships many can identify with.
For example as part of google’s strategy to destroy competition in India, as many 10 lazy greedy mediocre fraud women who cheated, defamed, betrayed and exploited the domain investor owning this website, including a relative, were rewarded with a R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence job falsely claiming that the fraud women owned this website, though the fraud indian intelligence employee was not spending any money or doing any work.  This identity theft fraud started in 2010, and the google, tata officials who allegedly masterminded it, still expect the domain investor to trust all those who cheated, betrayed her, teach them everything for free, like goan gsb fraud housewife riddhi nayak, diploma holder siddhi mandrekar, shivalli Brahmin housewife nayanshree hathwar, goan obc bhandari slut sunaina chodan, indore housewife veena, gujju housewife naina, mba hr ruchika, asmita patel , deepika though it is not recommended by psychologists as the victim will get hurt and cheated again. Like a broken relationship , this identity theft fraud, betrayal, exploitation, allegedly masterminded by google, tata can be very frustrating and stressful for the victim.

While there are a large number of largely similar romance books published by indian and other authors, there are relatively few books available on dealing with relationships which have gone wrong, especially love affairs. As betrayal, exploitation and lack of humanity becomes increasingly commonplace in Indian society, it is very necessary to deal with these broken relationships , without letting it affect the life of a victim.
Though The Break Up Clinic does not claim to be a self help book, this book helps readers look at any broken or hostile relationship in a new way which why this book is very readable and has mostly got 5* ratings on Amazon. Highly recommended for those who are upset that any close or important relationship did not work out the way they expected, especially young people who are more likely to be depressed when their girlfriend or boyfriend ditches them.

Review : World Hypnotized by Akash Lakhotia 0

World Hypnotized – Making of the Fuhrer is a fictional story which appears to be based on the real life manipulation of indian citizens using voice to skull technology so that they are hearing voices and brain wave or memory reading so that powerful strangers can find out what they are thinking about, without their knowledge or permission. The cowardly dishonest indian media refuses to discuss these highly sophisticated technologies and their use on harmless indian citizens without their permission or offering any kind of compensation. In fact the powerful indian government employees who have access to the technology are quick to defame anyone initiating an open debate on the technology used as being mentally unsound

An unusual book as none of the characters have been given any name, they are defined by their relationships or nature. The book is the story of a 30 year old hacker who has severe health problems, however he makes a miraculous recovery. After recovering from his operation, he starts hearing voices which give him instructions and also has powers to read the mind of others. The domain investor who actually owns this blog has done extensive research on both voice to skull technology and memory reading, and believes that those who undergo major operations and women who deliver children are microchipped without their permission in India, allowing other people (intelligence and security agencies) to control them, make them hear voice, read their memory

The voices claim that they are trying to help the main protagonist and advise him to start selling tshirts online so that he can make a lot of money as his father already has experience in tshirts, They tell him that he can make money embedding software to manipulate the mind of visitors to the online website, so that they purchase his tshirts and becomes a millionaire. The money he is making makes him very arrogant and he has disputes with his parents. Partly because of his arrogance, his parents meet with a near fatal accident when a car hits their scooter. He wishes to take revenge on the person who caused the death.

However the car causing the accident is driven by the son of a very powerful person who then kills one of the witnesses to the accident. Realizing that he is too weak to fight the powerful person, the protagonist decides to run for president, However, before that he plans and manages to take revenge on his mean girlfriend who is only interested in his money, exposing her mother who had an extra marital affair, and also ensures that the best friend of his girlfriend knows her true nature. The story of how the protagonist runs for president makes up the rest of the story using the manipulation skills.

The book “World Hypnotized – Making of the Fuhrer” is very interesting because it discusses hearing voices (scientifically known as voice to skull technology) and memory or brain wave reading honestly, which the indian mainstream media is not writing about, though it is being used extensively on a very large number of indian citizens, especially those targetted by large corporates and if powerful officials hate them. The officials controlling the sophisticated equipment for memory reading are officially claiming that it is only being used on offenders, however it is increasing being used for identity theft, especially of vulnerable engineers, who are not well connected . Memory reading is one of the few websites with extensive information on real life mind reading of indian citizens .

The protagonist in the book is fortunate that the voices are really trying to help him, however in many cases, the voices can cause great harm to the person who is hearing them. The earlier book reviewed” From Yesterday” also had a character Anita who was hearing voices and thinks that it is a sign of insanity. The voices are quick to attack those who are living alone, for example the domain investor also heard voices telling her to drop all her expensive and valuable domains, causing great losses, which will take a lot of time to recover from. However over a period of time, the domain investor has taught herself to ignore the voices as they are harmful

Those who control others, “the voices” and memory readers are supposed to be VIPs with great resumes, in India, however many of the real VIPs in India, especially among women, are mediocre lazy greedy fraud well connected sex workers, cheater housewives and other frauds with fake resumes, fake work. For example in 2017, the indian government is falslely claiming that as many as 10 lazy greedy google, tata sponsored goan sex workers like slim goan obc bhandari slut sunaina chodnekar 2013 bsc, goan gsb fraud diploma holder siddhi mandrekar, cheater housewives like goan gsb fraud housewife riddhi nayak who looks like bollywood actress kangana ranaut, gujju housewife eighth standard pass naina, bengaluru shivalli brahmin cheater housewife bbm nayanshree hathwar, indore housewife bespectacled veena, asmita patel, ruchika, and other fraud R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence employees, who have never answered JEE, have the btech 1993 ee degree, resume, investment including this domain name, when they do not spend any money on domain names or do any work online.

Many complain that life in India has worsened and become more intolerant in the last decade, it is mainly because mediocre lazy greedy frauds with completely fake resumes have been given great powers by the corrupt extremely powerful indian intelligence and security agencies, who cannot be questioned or held accountable for their fraud. Sometimes, it is extremely amusing to watch the voices manipulate those who they control, for example top official parmar controls his girlfriend, the cbi employee eighth standard pass housewife naina, mother of two sons, who he falsely claims owns domains to get her a monthly cbi salary, when cbi employee naina has actually not operated a computer in her life and actually has extremely poor english language skills.

Increasingly memory reading and voice to skull technology is used on a very large scale on indian citizens without their permission, especially domain investors and paypal account holders, falsely claiming national security, when actually large companies want to acquire talent and technology cheaply or bribe the top indian government employees with sex, government jobs for their mediocre lazy greedy inexperienced fraud relatives and friends like housewife riddhi nayak, diploma holder siddhi mandrekar, housewife nayanshree hathwar with fake resumes. Most of the victims do not get any kind of help or compensation when their memory is stolen, causing great financial losses, while those who read memories or keep their memory private have an unfair advantage .

It is time that there is an open debate on both memory reading and usage of voice to skull technology on select indian citizens without their permission, or offering any kind of compensation, on what basis are some citizens only are selected for testing these technologies, why they are discriminated against. Hence this book is highly recommended to get an insight on how memory reading, hearing voices can be used for manipulation of innocent harmless people and others

Review: From Yesterday by Anupam Dasgupta 0

The book “From Yesterday” by Anupam Dasgupta is the story of Advait a management professional from Kolkata who moves to Chennai for work. The book is partly written in flashback mode, as Advait, abbreviated as Adi, longs for his girlfriend Anita, who had left him nearly six years ago. At a latin dancing club he meets a tarot reader who correctly guesses that he is unhappy. She asks him to unburden himself and he recollects how he first met Anita with the help of a social networking website soulmates. Though Anita, a make up artist is seven years older than Adi, they get along very well, and soon become very good friends and are inseparable as both of them have no close friends in Chennai.

Anita is doing very well professionally and financially, but she has an unhappy past. When she was young she got into a livein relationship with Vanraj who appeared to be in love with her. He was not willing to get married, yet Anita took care of him like a wife so that he became well established professionally. After Vanraj tasted success, he started having affairs with his juniors and also physically and verbally abusing Anita. He also had an affair with the maid servant, and beat Anita for two days after tying her to the chair. Frustrated Anita tried to commit suicide taking pills, however she survived. After a year, Anita had an affair with Anand, who was rich and handsome, however his family objected after knowing her background. Anita also underwent an abortion losing the son, she had with Anand,a brahmin.

Though Adi and Anita enjoyed each others company, Anita was haunted by her past and when people commented or were surprised that she was older, she would get upset. After spending almost a year together, Adi plans to marry Anita, however Anita is filled with self doubts, and repeatedly tells Adi that he should marry someone of his age or younger, who does not have a turbulent past like her. She is also haunted by her past, claims that she is hearing voices. After Adi has purchased a house and car, he suddenly finds that Anita has left a letter for him, saying that she is leaving the city, because she thinks that he deserves someone better as he is young, innocent and affectionate. She tells him to keep her updated of his latest contact details through her assistant Hamid.

The tarot reader then predicts the future for Adi, that he will travel abroad and also revive the romance in his life. Though Adi is sceptical, soon afterwards, he finds that the company he is working for, posts him in Chicago. He also meets a beautiful american Christina who likes him, and expresses her feelings openly. However Adi continues to be haunted by memories of Anita, and rejects the proposal because of his loyalty to Anita. About the same time, he receives a message from Hamid, that he has sent a letter from Anita. To find out how the book ends, read the book.

The book is a reflection of the life of many professionals and young people who relocate to a new city for professional reasons alone and do not have any social network or support system of their own outside their workplace. It is very difficult for both single men and women to find true friends, people who they can trust. There are many men who have no qualms taking advantage of vulnerable trusting young women like Anita and then discarding them. It also shows that in India society, young men dating or marrying older women is not socially acceptable, due to prejudices.

However the character of Anita is too negative, she should not have let those who hurt her affect her, she should have taken revenge on them. For example, due to fraud of ntro employees, the domain investor owning this website has been subjected to identity/resume theft fraud by powerful cunning fraud ntro employees who have stolen the resume for as many as 10 lazy greedy mediocre google, tata sponsored goan sex worker sunaina, siddhi mandrekar, cheater housewives like riddhi nayak and other fraud R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence employees who are now getting a monthly indian government salary though these fraud women do not do any work, or spend any money online. These fraud ntro, cbi employees have also stolen the retirement savings of the domain investor, an experienced engineer without a court order, or legally valid reason.

This google, tata masterminded identity theft fraud has continued for 7 years since 2010 and the indian government refuses to investigate the resume theft of shameless fraud ntro employees like puneet, j srinivasan, vijay, patel, parmar, anish, though financial records, surveillance and bone ossification tests will expose the fraud in a few hours. However the domain investor, a single woman has not lost hope and continues to inform people about her shameless fraud male engineering classmates and other fraud indian government employees who are misusing her name, falsely claiming to know her well, to steal her resume, investment, cheating and exploiting her.

Most people who have relocated to a metro city for a job, will relate to the story, the loneliness, lack of true friends who can be trusted, and the doubts and complexes that often destroy relationships

Review : State vs Amrit Kumar by Dr Govind Sharma, IAS, retired 0

One of the reasons for brain drain from and poverty in India, is the high level of corruption and nepotism in India, which the mainstream media refuses to discuss and many young people are not aware of. The book ” State vs Amrit Kumar” exposes the high levels of corruption, nepotism, lack of morals, crime, betrayal which few indian authors are honest to write about . The book is written in flashback mode with Madhu, the mother of police officer Amrit Kumar, approaching a very successful lawyer Sukumar to get her son released from jail. Amrit Kumar has been imprisoned for incorrectly ordering the killing of a business owner Aman. The novel is set in the fictional town of Rajapur.

To fight the case well, the lawyer tries to get more information of the background of Amrit Kumar. He finds out that his mother Madhu was the daughter of a trade union leader, who won the college elections , yet married the loser of the college elections, Upendra, who came from a priestly family which managed the Thakurjee temple. The temple had a lot of land attached to it. A rich local businessman Chadha wanted the temple land along with his business associate Aman from Dubai. So using the college classmates of Upendra, Ketan and Sohan, they manipulate the system, using a combination of betrayal and blackmail to grab the land. Sohal is indebted to Chaddha who he has borrowed a large amount from for leading a life of luxury and business.

The Mahant of the Thakurjee temple is Upendra’s uncle Tapendra Nath, a bachelor. Blackmailing a devotee(sevak) of Thakurjee, Sumati, who was a drug addict, Ketan manages to poisoning the Mahant of the temple, making Sumati add arsenic to the food she gives the Mahant, killing him slowly and making him sign papers. He also manages to steal the jewelry of the temple by exploiting Sumati, who Tapendra Nath (Kakosa) blindly trusted. In an indication of the high level of manipulation and treachery which has become a feature of life in India today, Ketan manages to frame the honest Upendra for the crime, saying that he was responsible for the death of his uncle and also the theft of jewelry.

Amrit Kumar the son of Upendra and Madhu is born the day after the death of Tapendra Nath, the mahant of the Thakurjee. To make Upendra look guilty, Chaddha and Ketan manipulated the local media, having defamatory stories published about him. When Madhu visited Upendra who was lodged in Central Jail, after being framed for a crime he did not commit with her son, he said that he would like to attend the Bhandara ( religious ceremony) of his uncle, so that he could clarify what happened. However the next day, he was found dead in an apparent “suicide” . After the death of her husband, Madhu was in a state of shock, however her brother a police inspector Jayant offers shelter

Like his sister Madhu, the Jayant who becomes an ACP is also idealistic and honest, so his actions are causing losses to Chaddha and Sohan. So they get the staff of the police inspector Jayant to betray him, provide confidential information which allows Chaddha’s men to shoot him dead. The 6 year old Amrit Kumar is the sole witness to the brutal murder, which leaves him traumatized for the rest of his childhood and he wishes to become a police inspector like his uncle though he could select any profession with his good grades. Though his mother objects , she eventually agrees. However those opposing the idealistic Amrit Kumar, manage to get him framed, using a combination of treachery and bribery, leading to the case State vs Amrit Kumar. How Sukumar defends his client is the crux of the story

Though the domain investor who actually owns this website does not have a government job, allegedly 10 lazy greedy mediocre inexperienced google, tata sponsored goan sex workers, cheater housewives, blackmailers and other fraud women who never answered JEE, invested money online, or did any work online, are falsely claiming to have the resume, including btech 1993 ee degree, investment of the domain investor to get R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence jobs with monthly government salary, in a story of identity theft similar to the 2009 Aamir Khan starrer “3 Idiots” where the servant has to give up his engineering degree to the rich rancho. Since Indian intelligence agencies are involved, the domain investor cannot even file a case against the indian state as it is very difficult to get any kind of information about the designation of these 10 fraud indian government employees.

The book correctly focusses on betrayal that has become rampant in Indian society and is the reason, why so many foreigners were able to conquer India. For example the domain investor paid more than Rs 1.1 lakh to google, tata sponsored bengaluru shivalli brahmin cheater housewife bbm nayanshree hathwar, who then cheated her, and instead of being punished, was rewarded with a R&AW job falsely claiming that she had the resume including btech 1993 ee degree, investment of the domain investor. The police refused to file a case against nayanshree despite providing evidence. Similarly goan gsb fraud diploma holder siddhi mandrekar committed corporate espionage on the domain investor, and was rewarded with a R&AW job falsely claiming that she has the resume, investment of the domain investor, including this domain/website. Another fraud R&AW employee rewarded for betrayal is the indore housewife bespectacled veena and her associates deepika, mahesh

In a clear indication that harassment of the indian state is not limited to fiction novels, there are others like goan gsb fraud housewife riddhi nayak who looks like actress kangana ranaut, slim goan obc bhandari sex queen sunaina chodnekar, 2013 bsc eighth standard pass gujju housewife naina, mother of two sons, who have got lucrative R&AW/CBI jobs with fake resumes, fake investment falsely claiming to own this website and other domains to get a monthly indian government salary, though they do not spend any money online, do not do any work online, and do not control this website. The powerful corrupt CBI, NTRO employees who are involved in the identity theft fraud, which started in 2010, are not even willing to acknowledge the time and large amount of money spent by the domain investor for this and other websites, and are shameless in falsely claiming credit for work they do not do.

The book also indicates the complete lack of ethics of rich business owners, who will stoop to any level to become richer, committing crimes. For example the domain investor would not be subjected to identity theft, if large internet and tech sector companies allegedly google, tata were not extremely unscrupulous in destroying competition, acquiring talent and technology cheaply. However harmless single woman experienced engineers, domain investors subjected to identity theft by CBI, NTRO, indian intelligence agencies cannot file a case against the indian state because of lack of evidence, as these agencies are not covered under RTI. This is a honest review of the book, unlike most of the online reviews which are copy paste jobs. It would be interesting to know how this review will rank in search engines.

The book ” State vs Amrit Kumar” has been written by Dr. Govind Sharma , a retired IAS officer, who was the chief electoral officer of Rajasthan and held other important positions. Unlike the popular best sellers, which are extremely forgettable romances which are mainly for time pass, this is a very well written and relevant book for all those who are connected to India. The mainstream media in India rarely highlights the dark side of business and life in India, and the author has used his extensive experience to rightly indicate the complete lack of ethics in business in India, how betrayal, lies , bribery and manipulation are widespread. Most young indians are leading a fairly sheltered life, and are not aware of the complete lack of ethics till it is too late.

Summarizing the book ” State vs Amrit Kumar” by Dr Govind Sharma is highly recommended, it will be far more useful for college students and idealistic young people, compared to the books of Chetan Bhagat, which have been incorporated in the Delhi University syllabus.

Review : Mrs Funnybones by Twinkle Khanna 0

The death of actor MP Vinod Khanna on April 27, 2017 highlighted the great influence Bollywood has on India, especially the media. Though Vinod Khanna was a 4 time Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur in Punjab, and a sitting Loksabha MP, the media coverage did not highlight the fact and mainly focussed on his film career. The book Mrs Funnybones is written by Twinkle Khanna, the elder daughter of popular actors of the 1970’s Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna and wife of the actor, Akshay Kumar. Though Twinkle Khanna acted in a few movies more than a decade ago, she has mainly focussed on her interior design and candle business, writing newspaper columns, while looking after her children Arav and Nitara
The common man (and woman) in India is always curious to know about the life of our celebrities, particularly the highly paid top actors in Bollywood who have built an aura of mystery about them. The book Mrs Funnybones provides a glimpse of the life of Twinkle Khanna in her multiple roles as a mother, celebrity wife, business owner, interior designer, her lifestyle, the problems which she faces. It also indicates that women have to compromise when they marry into families which are very different from their own. For example Twinkle Khanna is not very religious, while her husband and his family is more religious, so she has to be careful while talking to her children, so that her own religious beliefs are not imposed on her children.
There are other interesting information about her life, how her husband is a fairly good cook , spends time in the kitchen cooking food, while she prefers to spend her time reading books. As a result, her son, has also learned some cooking, which is different from the typical indian home. There is other information as a business owner, how she spends some time daily checking out the accounts of her businesses, payment related problems. She also discusses taking part in trade fairs in Delhi and getting orders for her candle business, her life in boarding school, travelling to countries around the world, taking care of her children and her relationship with her famous mother, the actress Dimple Kapadia.
The author has a very humorous and entertaining writing style, making it easy to understand why this book was the top selling book by a female indian writer in 2015. The book has been wisely divided into a number of chapters, making it possible to read each chapter independently depending on the availability of time. For ordinary indian citizens, like the domain investor owning the blog, who is subjected to identity theft fraud like that in the 2009 Aamir Khan starrer, “3 Idiots” by CBI, NTRO, indian security agencies since 2010, this book provide a rare and honest glimpse of the life of bollywood celebrities

Please note that no google, tata sponsored R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence employee, especially slim goan obc bhandari R&AW employee SEX queen sunaina chodnekar 2013 bsc, brahmin cheater housewives nayanshree hathwar, riddhi nayak, naina, are associated with the website, as they do not wish to spend any money online, or do any work online, yet make fake claims to get credit and a monthly R&AW/CBI salary at the expense of the domain investor who is getting nothing despite spending so much time and money.

Review: The Trip by Rohit Bandri 0

Siddharth , a computer engineer living in the USA returns to India for a short New Year holiday and decides to catch up with his friends, meeting a few years after getting their engineering degree. The Trip is the story of engineering college friends Ravi (the narrator of the story), Akash, Siddharth and Gaurav, and their trip to Ratnagiri and Goa. The main protagonist of the story Ravi also unexpectedly meets his college crush Prajakta, who is married. It combines a detailed description of a trip to Ratnagiri, and nearby places , Goa along with the changing relationships between the friends and family members

If bribed by large corporates allegedly google, tata, indian intelligence and security agencies, CBI, NTRO often have no qualms in impressive stealing the resume of experienced engineers from top colleges in India for google, tata sponsored goan sex workers, cheater housewives and frauds to get all these frauds lucrative R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence jobs at the expense of the engineer, so that these companies can destroy competition, acquire talent and technology cheaply. However most middle class indian families are not aware of the fact that indian intelligence and security agencies are extremely ruthless in stealing the impressive resume, retirement savings of hardworking experienced engineers without a legally valid reason, so many middle class families encourage their children to study engineering

In India a large number of students with relatively good grades in school study engineering and often end up with a career which is very different from what they anticipated because of reasons ranging from salaries, career prospect or identity theft masterminded by google, tata . They engineers will remain in touch with their engineering college classmates for a few years after college, over a period of time they are gradually drifting away. Often during engineering college, many students have crushes on their classmates, however they usually get over it, but in some cases it can affect their relationships in future also.

The main protagonist of the story Ravi is working in the HR department of a private company in Mumbai, waiting for his date, when he receives an sms from his friend Gaurav about a trip they are planning to Ratnagiri and Goa during Christmas and New Year. Though originally only Ravi , Akash, Siddharth and Gaurav are supposed to make the trip, Gaurav’s girlfriend Pooja and Prajakta, the college crush of Ravi join them for the trip. Siddharth has a house in Ratnagiri and the book provides a very detailed description of travel to Ratnagiri and nearby places like the popular tourist attraction of Ganpatipule .

Prajakta is married to Ashish , who is in the merchant navy is sailing for six months a year, so Prajakta is lonely and misses her husband a lot. Slowly the relationship between Ravi and Prajakta is rekindled, though his friends warn him not to get too close because she is a married woman. After spending a few days in Ratnagiri, they then travel to Goa by train to celebrate New Year. During the train journey, Ravi meets Sneha , a vet and becomes friendly with her.

Goa has become notorious for drugs, and though his friends want to do drugs, Ravi is a teetotaller, and conservative so he avoids taking drugs , to get a hallucinatory experience caused by LSD, However he gets a headache, so by mistake he takes a pill which contains acid, resulting in a “Trip” of the drug variety .

Though India has a very large population, there are relatively few books available which describe the life of the average english speaking middle class indian well. Some of the popular indian authors are extremely sleazy, while others are focussing too much or romance, ignoring the other aspects of life. The book is extremely detailed, well edited and describes the life of middle class indians very well, the relationship between family members and friends, which most indian readers can easily relate to. A well written very readable book, especially for those who enjoy reading Sudha Murthy and other books by Indian authors which they can easily relate to.

Review : Being a Medico, an Inside Diary by Lachi Bhat 0

Most students who get good grades in school and college were earlier advised by their parents to either become a doctor or engineer. However if either parent is not a doctor or engineer, the student will often find it very difficult to get honest professional advice about the career, kind of training and opportunities available. The book Being a Medico, an Inside story gives an interesting and true life glimpse of the life of medical student in a government college. The book is the story of Nikil Sastri, a student from Hubli(originally from Sirsi) who gets admission to the government medical college in Bellary

Like all colleges Nikil Sastri finds there are some people who he likes and others who he dislikes. Studying medicine is fairly expensive as students have to purchase many items. One issue which engineering students do not usually face is external examiners, demanding bribes . In medical colleges, there is an external examiner, who will pass or fail students depending on the amount of bribe offered, collected indirectly with the help of peon. One of the friends of Nikil Sastri, Ankit comes from a poor background. Realizing that he is unable to gather enough funds to bribe the external examiner , Ankit takes an overdose of sleeping pills and commits suicide

The failure rate is also higher in medicine compared to engineering, and some students will drop out. The author has provided very detailed information on the course work for getting a medical degree, the subjects which are taught, and the professors who taught them. Some muslim students are allegedly involved in a terror module and there is a police raid. To add a touch of romance, Nikil sastri also describes his affair with his good looking muslim classmate from Mangalore Nihal. Many students realize that their college affair is only temporary and try to make the best out of it, unlike a few decades ago.

Though getting a medical degree and the life of a doctor is more difficult compared to an engineering degree from a top indian engineering college, there are some advantages of being a doctor as they are less likely to be subjected to resume theft by cbi, ntro indian intelligence and security agencies. For example a single woman engineer with a btech 1993 ee degree from a top college finds that after working for 20 years , the indian government is falsely claiming that 10 different google, tata sponsored goan call girls like goan gsb fraud diploma holder siddhi mandrekar, slim goan obc Bhandari slut sunaina chodnekar 2013 bsc cheater housewives like riddhi nayak, eight standard pass gujju housewife naina , nayanshree, indore housewife veena and other frauds like asmita patel who never answered JEE have her resume, investment to get all these frauds lucrative R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence jobs with monthly salary , while the engineer is not getting anything at all

For example the shivalli brahmin cheater housewife R&AW employee nayanshree hathwar has completed her bbm from bhandarkars college of arts and science, kundapura, udupi, karnataka in 2005, however because she has powerful friends and relatives, she is falsely claiming to have the btech 1993 ee degree, resume, investment of a single woman engineer she cheated of Rs 1.1 lakh to get a monthly government salary allegedly with the help of powerful fraud ntro, cbi, google, tata employees. In fact ntro, cbi, tata are extremely brazen in exploiting the engineer, falsely claiming that the housewife nayanshree, cheater owns this website though nayanshree has never spent any money on expenses or done any work for this website in her life (like the other 10 google, tata sponsored fraud indian intelligence employees)

The medical course is more difficult and longer compared to engineering , it appears that the doctors lead a better quality of life after twenty years of completing college, as the extremely corrupt indian intelligence and security agencies do not steal and sell their resume, unlike engineers who are sold to large companies allegedly google, tata, used for non consensual human experimentation causing great pain, denied their fundamental rights for more than 7 years. So for brilliant students who are not well connected, do not have powerful friends or relatives, it appears that doing medicine is a better professional choice in India in 2017, as doctors get more respect and are more valued compared to engineers from top colleges.

This book is highly recommended for brilliant students who are finding it difficult to decide on their career, whether they wish to study medicine or engineering. It provides very detailed information on the life of medical student, covering the entire coursework, exams and will mentally prepare a student who has got admission to a medical college. It is always said, that an author should always write on a topic he or she is very familiar with, only then is it likely to be a best seller. With some language simplified and marketing, the author could be another Chetan Bhagat in the making

Review: Open-eyed Meditations, Practical Wisdom for Everyday Life 0

As Indian society becomes increasingly materialistic and westernized, often most people find that they have to deal with unpleasant situations as they deal with individuals whose value systems, personal and professional ethics are very different from their own. This can cause a lot of mental stress, anger and can lead to mistakes which can be very expensive in the long term. Open Eyed Meditations, a self help book written by Shubha Vilas is a well written book which provides practical advice on dealing with unpleasant situations, events, and emotions like hatred, jealousy, how to get the most benefit from conditions which most will consider hostile, the importance of wisdom, getting honest advice from a wise person.

Till the fifteenth century A.D, India was widely considered to be one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and the fabulous wealth of ancient india is confirmed and documented worldwide. In the book Open Eyed Mediations, Shubha Vilas has drawn extensively from ancient indian mythology , specifically the Ramayana, and the Mahabharata, explaining how right values and the wise decisions taken by Rama, Pandavas allowed them to be victorious in the Mahabharat and conquer their rivals their cousins the Kauravas despite having their limitations in terms of their flaws, lesser resources, making ancient India wealthy. Mahabharata and the Ramayana are the most popular stories in Hindu mythology, which most children in India learn in school, and have also been converted into popular television serials.

Shubha Vilas has repeatedly used various events in the life of the most famous characters in Hindu mythology Rama, Hanuman, Krishna, Yudhistir, Arjuna, Karna, Bhima to illustrate the different facets of human life. For example when Rama was exiled to the forest for 14 years in the Ramayana, instead of being upset by the exile, which denied him the rule of the kingdom of Ayodhya, he took it as opportunity to learn about the different kinds of people, make new friends he would otherwise never interact with like Sugriva, Hanuman and others. He also discusses the strategy in defeating Ravana, the ruler of lanka who had abducted Sita, how Rama was able to select the right person Hanuman for getting Sita from Lanka, how Ravana mistreated his brother Vibhishana who later joined Rama.

Though the Pandavas had many limitations, and character flaws, they were able to overcome their faults by having the right attitude to negative events in their life. For example when the Kauravas got Hastinapura, and the Pandavas were given Indraprastha a barren place, they made the most of the opportunities they got, and made Indraprastha a better place than Hastinapura, which made their cousin Duryodhana jealous. It also explains how Karna was not able to match Arjuna, because he was extremely insecure, because of his poor family background, and would constantly boast to hide his insecurities. On the other hand, Arjuna was secure, and spent his time and resources to perfect his skills, to become the great marksman .

Today when data processing, big data and data analytics are widely used, most organizations and government agencies do not care for wisdom, experienced people, getting the right advice . However Shubha Vilas rightly points that having a wise and powerful advisor can be the greatest asset for any organization, how the Pandavas won the Mahabharata mainly because the wise Krishna, was on their side, though only as the charioteer for Arjuna. Before the Mahabharata began, both Arjuna and Duryodhana approached Krishna for help at the same time, when Krishna was sleeping. Duryodhana sat at his head, while Arjuna wisely sat at his feet, knowing that when Krishna would wake up, he would see him first. Krishna offered the cousins a choice, they could choose his army or him as a person. Realizing that the right advice would help them win the war, Arjuna rightly chose the Krishna, the person, who helped them win the Mahabharata.

The author Shubha Vilas, who is an engineer and lawyer, and has written the best selling book “Ramayana the Game of Life” again displays his mastery over ancient indian mythology while writing this book, incorporating incidents from the Mahabharata and Ramayana in the book seamlessly. While dealing with an unpleasant incident or event, many people will get angry, upset, depressed or let it affect their health, decisions and mental peace. This book helps them deal with the unpleasant situations and thoughts that almost everyone encounters daily , how to deal with provocations, solving the problem matrix. An interesting and eminently readable book, to be reread repeatedly especially when faced with difficult problems.

Review: Ornamental Gardening, A user’s companion 0

Despite having a population of more than 1.3 billion, india continue to import defence equipment, Rafale, Airbus aircraft from far smaller countries like France (population 66 million), Israel (8 million) because the brahmin dominated indian intelligence and security agencies especially CBI, NTRO, allegedly on the payroll of large corporates, waste a huge amount of indian tax payer money to destroy the life of experienced engineers, keeping them idle, while at same time falsely claiming that google, tata sponsored call girls sunaina, siddhi mandrekar, cheater housewives like nayanshree hathwar, riddhi nayak, eighth standard pass gujju housewife naina and other frauds who never studied engineering or worked as engineers are experienced engineers to give these call girls and frauds top R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence jobs with fake resume, fake investment and fake work.
The mainly brahmin NTRO, CBI, R&AW will refuse to acknowledge the education, work experience and online investment of india’s largest female domain investor, a harmless single woman obc engineer and in 2017 are falsely claiming that as many as 10 lazy greedy mediocre google, tata sponsored goan call girls, cheater housewives and other fraud R&AW/CBI/indian intelligence employees who never answered JEE , have the impressive resume including btech 1993 ee degree, investment of the obc single woman engineer. For more than 6 years since 2010, the indian government has wasted more than Rs 1.5 crore annually to keep the harmless obc single woman engineer idle and reduce her revenues to the minimum, diverting and stealing all the correspondence of the engineer without a legally valid reason.

For example the tata, google controlled NTRO, CBI officials are falsely claiming that the google, tata sponsored slim westernized goan obc bhandari R&AW employeecall girl sunaina chodnekar, 2013 bsc(with thick black hair) who has SEX with top ntro, cbi, and other indian government employees, owns this website and is writing content for the website to give her a monthly R&AW salary. However financial records, surveillance will easily prove that the lazy greedy goan SEX worker R&AW employee sunaina has never spent a single paisa on the website expenses or done any work online, however she offers SEX bribes to powerful ntro, cbi,and other officials , who then abuse their powers to falsely claim that their sex partners own the website of other indian citizens to get them a monthly R&AW salary, in a clear case trading SEX for power and money. A few of the Other google, tata sponsored R&AW/CBI employees who will falsely claim credit for the work despite not doing any work at all, are goan gsb frauds riddhi nayak, siddhi mandrekar, shivalli brahmin cheater housewife nayanshree hathwar, eighth standard pass housewife naina

One of the few hobbies available to a harmless indian citizen held virtual prisoner by the google, tata controlled intelligence and security agencies remains gardening. It is better to spend some time growing plants to get some knowledge, experience rather than working online and finding that all income is being blocked by the google, tata officials and their associates in NTRO who specialized in slander and defaming the harmless domain investor. However there are relatively few books available on gardening for indians with colour photos to identify the commonly available plants in India as the plants which grow profusely in a mainly tropical country like india, are different from those growing in a country with temperate weather conditions like United Kingdom or united states

The book Ornamental Gardening, a User’s companion by IAS official Hari Krishna Paliwal is a very useful guide for those who have a garden and are interested in find out more about the plants that they wish to grow in their garden. The book is divided into 24 chapters including propagation technniques, indoor gardening, all season annuals, climbers, creepers, house plants, ferns and gardening calendar. For those who do not have any background in botany and do not know anyone dealing in plants, this book is very useful for identifying the various plants which are available in the gardens in the area, and their propagation techniques.

One of the advantages of living in a small town, is that there are a lot of plants growing on the roadside and neighbouring areas. In a small town like Panaji,Goa some of the most popular plants which are found in many homes are marigold, wishbone flower (during monsoon), balsam, Angels trumpet, Buttercup flower, allamanda, yellow bell, Coral Vine, Hearts on a chain, bougainvillea, burma creeper, rangoon creeper, chinese honeysuckle, rangoon creeper, mirabalis or 4 o clock plant, jasmine. The wedelia is another hardy plant which is found growing wild with bright yellow flowers, in open areas .

The description of each plant includes the botanical name, family, Origin, Plant description, propagation , environment and light, and uses of the plant. For example wedelia is used for ground cover and the morning glory plant with purple flowers is used for fencing, and for covering trash heaps, piles. So this information can be useful for those who are just started gardening. The details of the propagation method used are especially useful for those who wish to grow a particular plant in their home garden.

Most people in India do not know the english name or latin name of most of the plants in the area, creating a lot of confusion about the identity of the plant. This book has excellent colour photos of all the plants listed , along with the different names of the plants and flowers. In particular the section on house plants and ferns is useful, because very little information is available elsewhere. However most of these plants are only ornamental , for decorative purposes , and little information is provided on the possible applications of these plants other than decoration. It would be also helpful if information was provided on the approximate prices and availability of many of these plants

An excellent book for all amateur gardeners who do not any botany background, highly recommended
