Manoj is the son of the local postman, who is always looking for quick money. When he finds that a family has got a lot of money after the death of a family member, he decides that he will also use the same method to become rich.
His father tells him that the local teacher Prashant in the school is making a lot of money. So he impersonates the teacher, and takes a policy of Rs 15 lakh, duping the insurance agent. Then he makes up a fake fight with the teacher, to kill him, falsely claiming that the teacher cheated his sister Gayatri. He then asks his crooked uncle Chottu to impersonate the teachers parents and collect the insurance money so that both of them can enjoy it
However, Manoj was not aware that insurance companies have a policy of investigating claims which are made within two years of taking the policy, to prevent fraud. So when the insurance company staff starts investigating the claim, and finds that details mismatch, slowly the fraud is exposed.
