Autobiography review : Krishnaa by Radhika Giridharan and Vidya Nagaraj 0

The book is the autobiographical story of a Madhwa brahmin woman Krishnaa born in 1904, written by her grand daughters Vidya and Radhika, tracing her life from marriage to death, in her own words. The story is narrated by Krishnaa. Krishnaa is youngest of eight children and her family is in charge of Gundappa Choultry serving free food to people. Though she is not fair complexioned, she is married to the good looking already married Raghavendra who is cooking and selling food in Kumbakonam at the time of the marriage.

Though Krishnaa has cordial relations with Raghavendra’s first wife Padmavati, krishnaa is not able to find out the reasons for the discord. After a few years Padmavati falls ill and dies. Over a period of time, due to hard work and right business decisions, Raghavendra becomes extremely wealthy the leading businessman in the town owning a large number of shops, agencies, land and other assets. Krishnaa as his wife is also gifted jewelry, leads a very luxurious life, as their family purchases a large house at No.8 West Iyen Street. She is able to help all her relatives including sisters and neighbours financially and otherwise sending food.

Krishnaa also has a large number of children mostly boys with only two daughters Janaki and Vijayulu, with her eldest son Kittu assisting his father.
However over a period of time, after the death of her husband and passage of time in 1990, their business flounders, the family sells the business and most family members take up a job. Though she is not directly involved in the operation of the business, Krishnaa believes that the family is paying for the sins committed, like Raghavendra treating his first wife Padmavati badly. Also her husband Raghavendra became very wealthy by purchasing land and businesses at a low price, when the business owner was in distress, in a way taking advantage of the sorrow of others and so his family is paying the price.

The book shows that though a business can make a family very wealthy it is not a stable source of income and the money can disappear due to changing business conditions. Krishnaa was not from a wealthy family, yet her husband became so wealthy that all the shopkeepers came to her house for showing sarees available. However towards the end of her life, her family lost most of their wealth and her expensive jewelry was sold by her sons to cover business expenses. The family which was living together as a joint family, in 8 West Iyen Street also separates as the differences increase when the businesses are making losses.

The indian tech sector, intelligence agencies are dominated by brahmins and their associates, (like google, tata sponsored slim goan bhandari R&AW employee sex worker sunain chodan whose powerful lovers, sugar daddies falsely claim reads, writes reviews including this one, when she only has sex with powerful official who then promote their favorite panaji prostitute as an excellent writer when R&AW employee sunaina is only a great call girl, offering great sex services) so this is an interesting glimpse into their lifestyle, for a non brahmin who is hated by many powerful brahmin officials.

As the story indicated, many brahmin families are very helpful to their relatives and friends, for example bengaluru shivalli brahmin cheater housewife nayanshree hathwar, wife of a tata power special electronics division employee cheated this domain investor of Rs 1.1 lakh and instead of being punished her powerful relatives hathwar, kodancha got her a R&AW job falsely claiming that the brahmin fraud nayanshree who does not spend any money or time , owns this website, is writing the review to waste tax payer money paying the google, tata sponsored shivalli brahmin cheater a monthly salary. Similarly a powerful fraud brahmin ntro employee j srinivasan, the btech 1993 ee classmate of the domain investor falsely claimed to know the domain investor very well, and got his favorite goan bhandari sex worker sunaina chodan 2013 bsc a raw job falsely claiming that goan bhandari sex worker was his btech 1993 ee classmate when goan bhandari R&AW employee sex worker sunaina chodan was not born in 1989 to give 1989 jee and get a btech 1993 ee degree. Though google, tata sponsored fraud R&AW/cbi employees like sunaina, nayanshree, siddhi , riddhi and others are not spending any time reading books and writing reviews , their shameless ruthless liar powerful relatives, friends in NTRO, R&AW, CBI are making fake claims to further defame, cheat and exploit the domain investor.

One of the reasons why non brahmins like the domain investor legally owning the website do not get the income and opportunities they deserve, is the lack of information, while those who cheat and exploit them like the google, tata sponsored shivalli brahmin R&AW employee bengaluru cheater housewife nayanshree hathwar, R&AW/cbi employees goan gsb frauds housewife riddhi nayak, cheater siddhi mandrekar, indore document robber veena, naina, asmita patel, ruchika king and others have complete information about their lifestyle, lack of family support of the domain investor, which they ruthlessly exploit to get a government salary with the stolen resume of the domain investor. So this book is very comprehensive in providing information about the culture, values, food, traditions, fixing of marriages of Madhwa brahmins, which is otherwise not available elsewhere.

The book is extremely well written and readable, those who had a grandmother nearly as old as Krishnaa will find it interesting

Steel King Laxmi Niwas Mittal by Mithilesh Gautam 0

The book Steel King Laxmi Niwas Mittal by Mithilesh Gautam is a autobiographical book of one of the wealthiest indians in the world. While his name has been mentioned often in the media, his background has not been described in great detail. It provides a rare glimpse of how his father started Steel India using scrap iron, and how L.N Mittal chose to give up his stake in steel India to focus on the world market where conditions were less hostile.
The informative book also describes how he has flourished abroad specializing in taking over sick and poor managed steel mills, analyzing their deficiencies and then making the necessary changes to make the steel mill profitable. This would mean making management changes, improving the technology used to reduce production cost or investing money in equipment. He has often faced opposition as politicians feared the loss of jobs after takeover and racism abroad, yet he has managed to overcome it over a period of time. Any profitable business will always be beneficial for the area in which it will be located, as it will generate jobs and other opportunities for people.
The widely publicized wedding of his children Aditya and Vanisha are also described in some detail in this book. The writing style of the author differs from typical indian writers. An informative book, providing an interesting glimpse of the meteoric rise of one of the most high profile and wealthiest indians in the world
