34 Bubblegums and Candies 0

A vast majority of indian educated middle class and upper class women are married to men who are working in large companies or organizations and are housewives looking after their children, which is socially acceptable in an increasingly conservative and intolerant India where indian intelligence agencies have no qualms falsely claiming that brahmin cheater housewives like gsb fraud riddhi, brahmin cheater nayanshree hathwar, goan sluts diploma holder fraud gsb siddhi mandrekar, obc slut bsc sunaina who offering sex bribes to top officials, are their Btech 1993 EE classmates, domain investors to get these frauds lucrative jobs allegedly in R&AW, with fake resumes . However there is little information available about their life , priorities and interests for others who lead a different or unconventional life. The book 34 Bubblegums and Candies by Preeti Shenoy provides a rare glimpse of the lifestyle of a middle class educated woman who looks after her family and children, while her husband pursues a conventional corporate career, with foreign trips and regular travel. The easy to read book consists of 34 short stories which are based on real life incidents and throw light on her relationship with her parents, husband, children and close friends.
Transfers every 3 years are an integral part of working in large companies, and she often spends large amounts remaining in touch with her close friends, speaking to them on phone. It also indicates how strict some indian schools are , they will punish their students if they do not turn up wearing the right uniform. The easy to read book consists of short stories which can be quickly read by those in a hurry with limited free time.
Though the slim book consisted of only 146 pages, it has proved to be popular as the 11th reprint of the book was published in 2014, indicating that there are few indian writers who cater to the large Indian audience, some of them market themselves only to the young people with their vulgar language and alienate others.

Review: Untouchable by Mulk Raj Anand 0

Though written in 1935, the book Untouchable could be a true picture of India a century later, as casteism still flourishes, though not so openly. The idealism of the independence era has died, and the mindset of the powerful Brahmin officials in India today remains similar to the powerful brahmins in India 80 years ago. The book is about a day of the life of Bakha, a 18 year old sweeper. He prefers to work with the british as they treat him as a human being, unlike the upper caste Indians who treat him like an animal, and feel polluted by his touch. He is expected to warn people that he is coming so that they do not touch him by mistake and get polluted. It also shows the hypocrisy of brahmins priests, who lust after his good looking sister sohini, yet shout polluted after they have molested her . The open discrimination which he faces, continues even in India today as education and technology has not changed the mindset of the all powerful brahmin officials. It describes his interaction with the salvation army padre who does not discriminate against the untouchable people. In the final section of the book, a meeting of Mahatma Gandhi has been described where he attempts to change the mindset of people against casteism, saying that people should be not discriminated according to their profession or caste.

In India today, in 2015, the caste based discrimination continues as bengaluru cybercrime refused to take against shivalli brahmin cheater BBM nayanshree hathwar, who cheated a single woman obc engineer of more than Rs 1.1 lakh, instead the brahmin fraud nayanshree has been allegedly rewarded with a job in R&AW, falsely claiming that the cheater nayanshree owns this and other websites. Similarly the goan gsb brahmin frauds riddhi siddhi, who are cheating the obc engineer and have commited corporate espionage are also rewarded with a job in R&AW, falsely claiming that they have the impressive resume of the obc engineer they cheated. To avoid allegations of casteism, a mediocre lazy greedy goan obc call girl bsc sunaina is promoted by the mainly brahmin officials who she sleeps with, as the domain investor and webmaster who owns the blog, to deny the hardworking obc engineer a fair deal. Ruchika, houswife veena, asmita patel nd others are other mediocre frauds who have been alleegdly rewarded with a job in R&AW for collaborating with the fraud brahmin officials in stealing the resume of the obc engineer.

Like the untouchable a century ago, the single woman bhandari obc engineer who actually owns the website has been ruthlessly defamed, openly discriminated against, denied information and opportunities, while lazy greedy goan call girls, brahmin and other cheaters get lucrative jobs allegedly in R&AW, falsely claiming that these frauds own this and other websites of the obc engineer. Her powerful fraud mainly brahmin engineering classmates falsely claim that 7-8 call girls and cheaters, have her impressive resume including a Btech 1993 EE degree to get all these fraud women permanent jobs allegedly in R&AW, Indian external intelligence agency, so that these women can join these classmates in defaming, exploiting, cheating and harassing her

The brilliant engineer has been told that she is being subjected that she is being subjected to a cruel human experiment because of her caste and academic brilliance, subjected to human rights atrocities daily, which she will not be able to find out using official methods. Why should the obc bhandari woman spend her hard earned money and time on the website and 8 cheater brahmin and other fraud women get credit, salary for doing nothing, while the obc woman is getting defamed and is being treated like a slave of these fraud brahmin and other women,.

Though written nearly a century ago, the mindset of the mainly brahmin officials who control most of India today remains the same, as think that cheating, exploiting and harassing vulnerable lower caste people remains their birthright. Any lower caste person who raises his or her voice against these atrocities finds that they are subjected to the most terrible human rights abuses , giving fake excuses of national security. A good read for any foreigner planning to do business in India or a person facing caste based discrimination.

Review: The Maharaja’s Man : Diwan Jarmani Dass 0

The Maharaja’s Man : Diwan Jarmani Dass is a fascinating look at the life of a minister in the court of the maharaja of kapurthala and patiala . Not only does it provide an interesting glimpse of how india was run in pre independence day India, before the british were forced to leave the country, it also provides an insight into the culture of the country which has not changed significantly over the last century, especially the status of women.
Today the maharajas have been replaced by the intelligence agency officials who cannot be held accountable, and treat women the same way. Allegedly some intelligence agency positions in india are also hereditary based on information available online and offline in magazines. Just as the marriage or being a mistress of a maharaja could make a woman rich overnight, being married to or sleeping w

Maharaja by Diwan Jarmani Dass 0

The book Maharaja : lives, loves and intrigues of the maharajas of India by Diwan Jarmani Dass is an interesting book for anyone who wishes to understand the mindset of people, inequality and the growth of the country, Unlike other large countries like Russia and China which were under communist rule for some time, India made a relatively smooth transition from British rule/ rule of maharajas to a democracy. As a result, in many sections of Indian society, even today the mindset of many of the people has not changed, they behave like maharajas, leading a life of great luxury and ruthlessly exploiting anyone they find vulnerable for personal gain.
The author of the book was a minister in the North Indian states, and had a close glimpse of the life of the maharajas. Realizing that it would be difficult to control a large country like india alone, the British adopted the divide and rule policy ensuring that their puppet maharajas ruled the different states of India. In reality the maharajas delegated all the work of handling the administration of the state, to their trusted ministers who were nominated by the british .

With a large amount of money at their disposal, the maharajas led a life of great luxury, purchasing expensive clothes, accessories, cars, jewelleries, holidaying in Europe and US while many of the citizens of the state which they ruled were extremely poor. They had harems of maharanis , ranis, mistresses and cocubines, who would be more than 300-400 in number wasting the resources of the state they ruled. Intrigue among officials was common to get rid of an unpopular minister or official, and the technique of cutting off all communication to isolate a person, create misunderstandings is widely used in India even today to harass small business owners, professsionals though the maharajas no longer rule.

Today nominally though a democracy, the top government officials, especially in indian intelligence agencies like RAW, CBI and military intelligence are the new maharajas of india today, who cannot be held accountable with great powers at their disposal.
Allegedly the cheater call girls who sleep with the officials like siddhi mandrekar, obc call girl bsc sunaina and cheater brahmin women like nayanshree hathwar, riddhi, ruchika, asmita patel, who these officials are infatuated with are the new maharanis, ranis, cocubines and mistresses of these powerful officials, who get great powers and government jobs because of their powerful friends

An employee will not see this aspect of India which the mainstream media will not cover, when he or she has a job. While working as a small business owner, who finds her retirement savings and resume stolen without a court order or legal reason, a brilliant harmless obc engineer from a top college realized that india is nominally a democracy. However intelligence and security agency officials rule the country like the corrupt selfish maharajas of the past, as a result of which india remains a poor and backward nation . A good read for those who want to know the real India.

The Art of Coconut Craft 0

Though india has a large number of unemployed and partially employed people, many of whom are educated, there has been a dearth of opportunities to earn a fair living. The government can offer a limited number of jobs, and increasingly private companies are very selective about choosing the person they employ, limiting opportunities for older people. India also does not offer support to unemployed people in most states. However, in India there is very little information about metal work, crafting, tailoring, food processing or other DIY which could be used by a person with free time to earn some money to cover expenses.

While fiction books are good for entertainment and getting sleep , and business, politics books provide information, these do not help to pay the bills, especially if infinite indian tax payer money has been wasted to ensure that the harmless innocent person does not earn a fair living online and correspondence allegedly diverted to call girls who sleep with powerful officials and well connected good looking cheaters.

The Art of Coconut Craft is a very useful book for anyone who would be interested in learning about the different applications of coconut or making a living creating and selling coconut craft items. Coconut trees are an integral part of the life of any person living along the west coast of India and many would be interested in knowing how to earn a living from the coconut and leaves of the coconut tree.

Often non fiction books are written by a person who has a superficial knowledge of the subject, this book for a change has been written by a master craftsman Vijaydatta Lotlikar who has many years experience making coconut shell craft, He has provided very detailed information on coconut craft, the different types of coconut available, quality of coconut shell from goa and kerala . Guidelines on how to make craft items from coconut shells have also been provided, the tools required and the methods to be used. It also provides information about the incentives offered to craftsmen, for example at the Aparant Maand held in two different places in Goa, artisans who participate are given Rs 100 per day as DA.

The book has been published with the help of the grant of Rs 25000 from the Goa Government’s Directorate of Art and culture under the scheme to provide financial help to Goan Authors and Publishers. In addition to useful content, the book has extensive internet links related to coconut craft and also photos of the various coconut shell items

Kindly note that the review has been provided free of cost for information purposes only. Book authors and publishers can send their book or contact information to websites@useful.in, info@marketingpartner.biz and info@textads.in. Powerful fraud government officials have allegedly stolen the retirement savings of twenty years of the webmaster without a court order, brahmin bangalore housewife nayanshree hathwar has cheated the webmaster of more than Rs 1.1 lakh, and goan diploma holder siddhi mandrekar has commited corporate espionage and steals data, leads and orders daily wasting indian tax payer money. Hence any advertising on the website will be greatly appreciated to cover the the expenses of the website. If any advertising payment will actually reach the webmaster, it will be acknowledged on the website.

Please note that good looking liars diploma holder siddhi mandrekar, bsc slim young sunaina , shivalli brahmin nayanshree hathwar, veena, asmita patel, ruchika kinger and others are not associated with the website in any way, though allegedly the most powerful intelligence and internet officials are making false claims promoting these women. Posting the disclaimer has become the only way to force these shameless women from making false claims.

Review : The Great Indian Middle Class by Pavan K.Varma 0

The book ” The Great Indian Middle Class”  looks at the evolution of the  Indian middle class from the  pre Independence era till date.  The author notes that Jawaharlal Nehru , the first prime minister of  India was  modern,  had a scientific and rationalist outlook and did not care much for religious rituals.

However, in recent years as people have become  wealthier and acquired more materialistic goods like consumer gadgets,  many of  them have also become less modern in some ways, blindly spending time and money on irrational activities.  He notes that an educated middle class person will publicly denounce some of the harmful traditions like dowry , but will privately do exactly the opposite.  In the chapter ” Inner Landscape” , he notes that  “The young in the middle class are even more susceptible to blindly imitating the West than their parents were”, which is very true.

He concludes by noting that a nation will not be considered great or a superpower  if  only a small section of  its society is wealthy, but when it also treats its poor and vulnerable with care and concern.  This book  gives a very realistic glimpse of  Indian society society, shorn of all the hype and gloss.

Review : Mistaken Modernity by Dipankar Gupta 0

Though I dress very traditionally (salwar kameez , plaited hair , oil in hair – my choice),  my business as an online publisher is related to domain names and web hosting which is “high tech” by Indian standards and I often wonder why my way of thinking is so different from others. I grew up in Goa in the 70’s and 80’s when it still had a strong Portuguese influence (it was liberated from portugal in 1961), admission to IIT Bombay was based on merit and  Larsen & Toubro where I worked in the 1990’s had a European / professional work culture. In last decade I have devoted almost all my time to my business and have had a very limited interaction with typical / traditional Indian families.

Reading “Mistaken Modernity” by Dipankar Gupta was a revelation, it shows that though people may be outwardly modern in the clothes and their material possessions, many of them are not modern in their thinking , they lack the ability to appreciate merit or innovate.
The section on the status of women in the chapter “Tenacious Traditions”, explains why I am almost always incorrectly addressed as “Sir” instead “Miss” especially when I enquire about technical stuff like USB to SATA / IDE cables  . It also touches on why rumours (which are often baseless and not supported by facts)  flourish in India and why so many people believe them.

If you are planning an ecommerce (or related) business then Chapter 3, It Just Isn’t Cricket is a must read. The author has described  a modern society as one in which the achievements and hard work of the individual are recognised and laws are the same for everyone. However changing the mindset of people takes time.
